Here at Amudipes Residential and Day Treatment Facilities, we have developed services to support individuals in the community employment work environment.
Supported Employment services consist of two components: job finding and job support. Individuals in this program are paid directly by an employer and receive minimum wage or higher. This is also consist of paid employment for persons who, because of their disabilities, need intensive ongoing support to perform in a work setting. The program also includes activities needed to sustain paid work by individuals receiving services, such as supervision and training.
The support we can provide for employees are:
- Giving assistance in the resume preparation, job searching, interview, employer outreach, orientation, and preparation for job tasks.
- Ongoing help in keeping a job once the waiver participant has found employment.
- Reducing the need for help by supporting the participant to be successful at work with independence.
